How to use the Drafting screen (Spectator)

Once both captains have locked in their teams positions on the Team Selection screen and you are spectating the game you will automatically progress through to the spectator version of the Drafting screen.

Spectator Drafting Display

The spectator version of the Drafting screen is split into 3 main sections.

In the middle of the window is the Timeline (1).

  • The timeline phases are set by the server host on the Server Configuration screen.
  • The word 'Ban' or 'Pick' is placed on the Timeline at every point that the type of phase changes, so if there are 4 bans in a row (as shown in the picture to the right) the word 'Ban' will only be displayed once at the start of the series of bans.
  • If it is a Red Team phase, then a little arrow points up towards the red team's box and the segment will be coloured red. If it is a Blue Team phase, the arrow will point down and is the segment will be blue.
  • Displayed above or below the current segment, for the red and blue team respectively, is the time left for that phase. This will slowly decrement and the segment will slowly disappear as time passes. This will be reset back to 30 seconds for each phase.
  • On the far left is the Bonus Time. This will start decrementing if the team runs out of time for the current phase. This time never resets.

The space above and below the Timeline is occupied the Team Areas.

  • On the right of each of the Team Areas is a list of the players and their icons to represent who is in that team (2).
  • For the Red Team the top-most players is their captain and for the Blue Team the bottom-most player is their captain, indicated by a small crown icon:  or .
  • On the left is the bans that have been made so far by each team (3). These characters are banned for both teams selection.
  • In the middle of each Team Area are the three characters that the captain has picked for their team (4).
  • The current selection, whether it be a pick or a ban, will be highlighted in white, seen here on the Blue Team's final pick.

There is also a 'Leave Game' button (5) located in the bottom left of this screen that will take you back to the Server Browser screen and can be used at any time.

Once the Drafting Process is complete you will automatically transition on to the Versus screen.
